(More customer reviews)I've been using this monitor for a few months with business related applications, web browsing, DVD watching and the occasional game. It's being driven by the VGA and HDMI ports.
Pro:
Overall, image quality and performance is good. It's bright, crisp and has reasonable color saturation across the entire screen. Physical setup was easy. Configuration was ok.
Con:
There is some bleed through across the entire screen and especially near the edges. It's noticeable at startup but the monitor's high contrast and brightness soon make this unnoticeable in most applications except movies where the shadow areas suffer a bit.
The provided stand is useless. It's allows the monitor to constantly bob around placing a strain on the eyes after 20 minutes. It's also short. I added a 3M stand that improves it greatly but is still not as stabile as other monitors (HP, Dell)
The configuration software is nice if it would stay running. Installed on two XP systems and it fails to run properly. So I use the soft-touch buttons on the monitor base.
The soft-touch buttons aren't user friendly. If the rooms not lit up, it's difficult to find the right finger position.
Overall, if you can find this for under $200 it would be a good value. Otherwise I'd look elsewhere.
