I bought a 62inch HDTV two years ago, picked up a SquareTrade Extended Warranty on the HDTV. Worked fine until a week prior to my SquareTrade Warranty was expiring-I know, I was frantic.
Called SquareTrade, they processed a claim and dispatched a Technician to discussed the issue and inspect for repair within three days. On the fourth day the Technician submitted his affidavit concerning the problem with the HDTV. The next day I was contacted by a SquareTrade Representative and they refunded my "entire" purchase price for me to either buy a new item, or use the funds to have it repaired. My refund was processed and credited that evening and available to use the same day.
All within a week my HDTV died and I received a full purchase price refund and credited immediately to use and a few days prior to my Warranty expiring. That is unheard of these days, in addition to the excellent, professional, and courteous Customer Service. I will buy a new HDTV and add an extended warranty with SquareTrade.
