(More customer reviews)I was debating for a long time whether it was time to get rid of my old clunky tv stand and mount my 40" LCD on the wall. After searching the internet and the retail stores for a functional mount at a reasonable price, I decided to by this mount.
Installation was much easier than I expected. I am not a handyman of any sort, but the instructions were clear and the installation process was quite simple.
I like the tilting function as I sometimes need to connect different cables to the TV. I heard it is quite difficult to connect cables on straight wallmounts after the TV is mounted with the cables.
Overall, it is good quality, it performs better than expected and it did not cost me a fortune. And for the tv stand, you can purchase it at Goodwill stores.

TV stays 3 1/4" away from the wall. 30" wide wall plate supports block wall installation or installation on either 8", 12" or 16" wall studs.
