(More customer reviews)HD, Blu-Ray, & PS3 gaming look top notch on this LCD. Scrolling text looks clear w/ 120hz refresh rate. I got this from Costco and had the chance to compare the Toshiba side by side w/ the comparable 46" Sony, Sharp, Vizio & Samsung. The Toshiba & Samsung had the best picture quality & details in the blacks. No contrast ratio spec that I could find, however the darks have more detail than the Sony, Sharp & Vizio. The only difference between the Samsung & Toshiba was that the color on the Samung looked better, but for the price the Toshiba was the way to go. I've had it for 2 weeks and have not had any problems with it. At first I thought the menu screens were a bit basic and inefficient compared to the Sony menus, however after some time it actually is quite intuitive and has convenient shortcuts. I especially like how to switch between inputs, channels through favorites and or the channel history. I am very happy w/ this LCD TV.
