(More customer reviews)I bought this for use with my Wii. I have a DVI Computer monitor I use as an HDTV and I can only use HDMI for plugging in Devices, so the Wii's Component wouldn't work for me. I'm currently using this at 480p. Works like a charm. There is no lag in the picture. And it seems like it doesn't loose any quality as well. Anyone interested in getting a Component to HDMI converter should go with this one. I've shopped around and most converters are between 2-3 times as expensive.

(More customer reviews)Does it's job as required, the connectivity option give you a good source of signal if you are out of luck using the direct HDMI.
I did need the audio out from HDMI and this is the only converter I did find out in the market, though this converter didn't come with no manuals, it does work fine with digital/analog audio out. Excellent choice to listen to internet radio if you wish to turn the TV off while you have external speakers, many of these stand alone Media players don't come with analog output.
I find the video signal from the component not as good as HDMI, kind of washed out with more gray and less luminous.
