This simple glass stand is elegant in its simplicity, and the dark bronze legs are a perfect frame for the Sony 46" HDTV. We have it placed in that passageway to the outside, and it makes a decorative statement that complements both rooms. You can assemble simply in less than 30 minutes (they even include extra caps and smaller parts); the result is sturdy, and elegant. Best money I could have spent, and it arrived two days after I placed the order. Don't worry about backing it into a corner or against a wall (unless you have a roustabout dog or young adventurous children). It would easily take a 52" flat screen as well. (More customer reviews)This stand is a great deal for the price. During assembly (which takes 15 min tops), I was a bit concerned about how stable it would be but when finished the stand was solid. The stand is not as wide as I expected for a 52" TV but it still looks great, my 52" Samsung hangs over each side by about half of an inch. The glass has a black coating on the bottom giving it a black tint. The legs have slots for colored panels (black, gray, and a light wood pattern) to slide into which is what the "3-Color" is referring to. The angles and curves give it a modern appearance. The rear legs of the stand will limit the placement of some larger electronics to the center but most should be fine. My first gen PS3 fist comfortably to one side, any larger and you may need to place it in the center. Overall I am impressed. I think TV stands are overpriced in general but if you can get this stand at a discount I would highly recommend.

If the bolt holes are more then 30" apart then you need a different Arm Size that is available by a different part Number. This should be more clearly defined on the literature. Techcraft HBL44 44-Inch Flat Panel Television Stand Review

(More customer reviews)The appearance of the HBL44 is quite impressive, although you're going to need to dust the glossy black glass shelving regularly or get some anti-static cleaning spray. Dimensions are perfect for a 46" HDTV (no side overhang) although I believe it's built for a 37" to 42" HDTV.
As with other large furniture assembly, go through at least three rounds of screw checking and tightening and you'll have one solid piece of furniture. This stand doesn't creak, groan, or even wiggle slightly. Plan on half an hour for assembly between you and a friend and another hour for getting your A/V components placed and wired.
While this stand can take the heavier A/V components, my advice is to place the those components in the shelves and get as much of the wiring done before moving this stand onto its permanent floor location. The second shelf (from the bottom) has quite a bit more height than the bottom shelf, but it was still a tight squeeze getting a Denon receiver (AVR-1910) into the second shelf. Once in there, the receiver has plenty of room and wiring it up from the top or back couldn't be easier.
If you're strong or have a friend handy, you can get all of the components into the shelving and move this stand without too much trouble. Moving this stand is easy if you leave off the (heavy!) black glass top.

Techcraft HBL52 52-Inch Flat Panel Television Stand Review

(More customer reviews)As most other people commented, this is an excellent stand, very sturdy, very classy looking. Easy assembly, maybe 30-40 minutes. Before I bought this, I could not find any info on the clearance of the shelfs; I have a high end receiver (Sony STR-DG720) that is about 6.25 inches high, and it wasn't clear to me if that would fit in any of the shelves on this stand. So here is some info on shelf heights and clearance: on the bottom shelf, you can fit anything up to 5.25 inches in height, which is more than enough for DVD player, PS2, PS3, etc., but not a high end receiver. The shelf above has more clearance; units up to 6.5 inches high slide easily in from the front (or back), so my Sony Receiver fits in nicely. Since the glass above (which the TV stands on) is supported by "domed" metal beams, you actually have up to 8.5 inches of height, if you slide any unit onto that shelf from the sides. This is because the metal frames the whole unit stand on cover a little bit of the total height of the second shelf at the front and back, but not on the sides. I actually was almost able to put my center speaker bar on top of my tall receiver on this shelf when sliding it in from the side, there was just a tenth of an inch or so height missing to do that. But since there is so much horizontal space on both shelves anyway, that was not needed (one can easily fit three components side by side on each shelf). So in summary, there is more than enough height on the second shelf for tall electronic units like high end receivers. Hope this is helpful!

I looked at numerous stands, online and in person and landed on this Techcraft model. The style is exactly what we were looking for, straight lines, very simple, and a great price. The stand is extremely well made, assembly took about 20 minutes and it looks great with my TV and associated components; DirecTV box, Sony DVD player, and Wii console. The solid piece supporting the back provides a certain amount of cable management allowing you to hide the majority of your cables. Best of all, UPS delivered this to my front door in two days (I am a Prime member, I highly recommend this membership if you do any amount of shopping with Amazon) with no sales tax. Highly recommend.
