(More customer reviews)I purchased this wall mount for a new Pioneer PDP-6010FD 60" plasma flat screen, and can highly recommend this mount. It is engineered and built with superior construction quality, easily holding my plasma TV weighing about 150 pounds (rated up to 250lbs). Mounting the universal bracket to the back of the plasma was extremely easy, just four bolts and washers (provided) that locked down, make for an extremely rigid mounting of the TV onto the bracket.
Since this mount covers televisions up to 71", it should work for most sets, as long as the maximum horizontal distance between the mounting holes is about 35" or less (check the product manual to get the exact maximum distance). The bracket's width and weight handling capacity requires that you mount it onto 3 wall studs, as it is approximately 40" wide. However, this actually helps you with mounting the bracket in a very level manner.
Here is a short narrative of how you go about mounting your TV using this wall mount. First, locate the center stud that will be used as the center mounting point, and use one of the provided lag bolts to mount the bracket on the wall at the desired location, using the topmost center hole on the wall bracket. Now mount your level on top of the bracket and using the installed center bolt as a pivot, rotate one side of the bracket or the other until your level indicates that the mount is perfectly level. Now using a marker pen, mark the two points to be drilled on the left and right outer studs, perfectly centered in the desired mounting holes. Drill the appropriate holes, then screw in the lag bolts, fixing the bracket into a perfectly level position. Now mark, drill for, and mount the remaining 3 bolts (there are six total, two at each end and two in the center mounting positions.)
The final step is to mount your TV onto the wall bracket and secure it. With help from a friend, securely grasp the TV and "hook" it onto the wall bracket. From underneath, reach behind with a standard or phillips head screw driver and secure the lock screw on the bottom of each bracket hook. This final step secures the TV to the wall mount.
I'll tell you, I live in the heart of earthquake county in SoCal, and I fully believe that my house will suffer damage well before this TV comes off the wall in a seismic event.
Overall, this wall mount is well worth every penny. Like always, Amazon comes through with a great product at a good price.

The "horizontal" adjustment is linear, in other words it moves lateraly from side to side rather than rotates. But, this is a good feature if you have to locate studs to get a proper mount. You can adjust the mount to hit the studs by the many mounting holes and then move the screen to adjust to the center. Also, the package of bolts for connecting the flat screen should be tested in the flat screen mounting holes to make sure that you have the right bolts.

I needed one with a lot of movement, and the ability to pull far from the wall, this way it could be mounted in a corner. This did the job perfectly. The mount had plenty of holes for the mounting bolts, which helped out with the studs on that section of my wall not being standard distance apart.

*Backplate has a variety of mounting holes (ease of mounting)
CONS:
*Terrible instructions
*Bit of work to install
The instructions were absolutely terrible for this thing. They were not needed for me, but I can see where it would be a problem for many other people. Its a bit unwieldy securing it, so if you are weak, don't install it alone. The tools you will need are: Drill and bits (pilot holes into the studs), nut driver or rachet, level, stud sensor, and screwdrivers.
All in all, an excellent product. Took me about 30 minutes from receiving the box to mounting it on the wall, but expect it to take upwards of an hour and a half. It holds up my 46" with ease, and allows me to swivel the TV easily.

But it does come with a good HDMI cable and lot's of hardware to choose from to fasten the TV to the arm. Unit is very strong and sturdy and articulates well under the weight of the TV.

The GSI GDM2B is a very substantial mount with Dual arms and heavy guage steel. The arms extend over 20" from the wall yet fold to less than 5". (More customer reviews)This Sanus tilting wall mount is the smaller version of the non-tilting one I use on my $6,000 50" Fujitsu plasma TV. It has all the ruggedness and strength of its bigger sibling, lots of mounting hardware for both the wall mounting and TV mounting, and provisions for locking the TV to the wall.
Thick, heavy gauge steel that's finished with a nice black paint, a smooth up/down tilt track and positive screw-clutch mechanizm completes the package. Very good straight-ahead instructions are included, too.
There are multiple holes to mate to your TV threads. The two brackets attach independantly to each side of the back of the TV.
Getting the whole thing onto the wall mount is as easy as tilting the TV bottom out, hooking the tops of the brackets over the wall mount, rotating the TV bottom down and flipping the locking tabs in place.
Once you get the wall mount bolted to the wall and the two brackets on the TV, it takes about 30 seconds to get the TV secured to the wall, which is great because you don't want to have to fumble and fool around trying to get "your precious" secured to the wall.
When I was shopping for the 32" Samsung LCD TV that is going onto this mount, I looked at some of the wall mounts they had at the store, and they were pitiful little things by comparison. I headed right home and ordered this one from Amazon.
This is a great medium-size wall mount, highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)In regular stores, it's evident from a glance at large-screen TV accessories that they're top-heavy with markup. I hate paying fifty bucks for cables when I can go online and fine the same cables for $20 or less. Likewise with the wall mounts: a hundred-dollar price tag for only about twenty bucks worth of hardware. That's why I bought this: I just wanted something that would keep my cool new TV from getting knocked over by the kids.
THE GOOD:
- The low price is a fair value for what you get.
- Some of the included hardware was not too bad.
THE BAD:
- No instructions. (They do include a drawing of what the finished thing is supposed to look like, and you can pretty much tell from that which parts are supposed to go where.)
- Description says bubble level included, but where is it? (There was a slot in the wall mount body, and some jagged pieces of clear plastic at the bottom of the box. I'm guessing that that was the remains of the level, originally built into the wall mount itself. Which could have been handy, but unnecessary if you have your own basic tools.)
- Included hardware did not fit my TV. (TV mounting screws were too long. If you're installing a wall mount, see your TV owner's manual to make sure the screws you're using are the right size. Too short, and they won't hold up the TV. Too long, and you'll destroy the screen by punching holes through it from the backside.)
- Included hardware did not fit my wall. (The big lag screws were adequate if you're mounting directly to studs. If not, the included plastic anchors for mounting on drywall looked flimsy and untrustworthy for anything over 5 pounds. If you're mounting on drywall, plan on a trip to Home Depot.)
- Construction of the mount is only adequate. (It's just a powder-coated stamping of low-gauge steel. Sony recommends a mount that holds 4x the weight of the TV; this thing is only rated at about 3x. I chose to live with the lower margin of safety because once it's installed, there's not going to be any further stress on the mount: it's not like it has to flex or be cycled through additional loads. But I found myself wishing that the steel had been a little heavier gauge.)
OVERALL: It's not pretty, it's not great, but it gets the job done, and it's cheap. Better instructions and hardware would have been nice. Grade: C-minus.

The instructions were easy to follow and the mount is very sturdy. It comes with a ton of different adapters and an easy-to-use compatibility guide so you can quickly match up your TV with the right adapter.
Highly recommended for someone looking for a low-profile mount.
UPDATE 10/03/07: I recently upgraded to a Panasonic TH-58PZ700U 58" 1080p Plasma HDTV. This mount worked like a champ using the thicker set of "bars" to attach to the panel.

(More customer reviews)I was a little apprehensive in buying this item on Amazon. I could only find one review on Amazon prior to my purchase. The main complaint of the review was regarding the distance between the wall studs and that fact that this distance was not being spelled out in the specs. However, the review did state that the HRM-100 was "....definitely sturdy." I couldn't agree more. The HRM-100 is sturdy as an ox. It is solid steel and built very well. I'm currently using it for a 32" HDTV. I plan to swap out my TV for a 47" and I have no concerns regarding the ability of the HRM-100 to support a larger TV. Most homes in the U.S. were built to spec with the studs that are 16 inches apart. So, this should be a non-issue for most buyers. After bolting the HRM-100 to the wall with four huge bolts, I was ready to watch TV. The install was great and directions were sufficient. I recommend this to anyone. I couldn't believe the price on Amazon compared to other articulating mounts. The HRM-100 was approx 1/2 to 1/3 the price of other options. But a lower price definitely did not mean lower quality. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Since I always check out amazon before making a purchase anywhere else.. I found this wall mount. There werent any reviews at the time on it.. but it seemed pretty good so I took the chance and ordered it. The price can't be beat and when I got it home I found out the quality cant be beat either. It was a breeze to set up and its very sturdy. I wouldve gave it five stars but the only problem is the tilt portion of the item.. its very hard to tilt the tv up and down.. so i didnt want to take a chance of God for bit breaking it so I left it flat on the wall. If you're looking for a very durable.. sturdy wall mount for any one of the above makes.. than def get this one.. its wonderful!

(More customer reviews)I got this mount cause it was cheap. i paid for the 2 day shipping and got it in 2 days. once it was in my possecion, i opened it up and observe it. It looks cheap, but then again it is hidden behind the tv, so who cares. It did come in 6 pieces, 4 of which you need to screwn together to mount on your wall and 2 that bolt on to your tv. My Tv is a sony and i had to position nuts on the screws on the tv because the screws that came with the mount were to long. I did use my own level, the one that is built in was a few degrees off. I gave it 4 star for 1 reason, my tv is still hanging in my daughters room, it is performing it job. As to all the other little situations, I enjoy a challenge in the projects i do, however if you don't enjoy a challenge and can afford to spend a little bit more, I would probly do so!

The GMSB tilt mount features a universal design that allows you to mount the vast majority of LED/LCD/Plasma TVs in the 23-37" size range.
